Full-bodied, slightly dry with a pleasant almond aftertaste, can be consumed with a wide variety of foods. No aging in wood.

Ancient grape variety, has been cultivated in the Trentino wine region of northern Italy for hundreds of years. Hand-harvested with careful selection of the best bunches, fermentation on the skins in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation & ageing in stainless steel tanks. Bottle-ageing for 3 months. Tasting notes: Intense red color. Notes of fresh red fruits (cherry, raspberry, blueberry). The palate is tannic with a dry body, offering hints of almond.
