Ballerina Rosso is fresh and elegant; a true example of a Nero d’Avola that expresses its territory. It is ruby red with purple reflections. There is a fruitiness to it with intense hints of cherry and blackberry yet it closes with a few spicy notes. It is dry, rich, and structured, with velvety tannins; sapid and persistent.
