Three grape varieties, Ancellotta, Lambrusco Maestri, and Lambrusco Salamino all native to the Emilia region have been blended together to create this lightly sparkling wine. Exhibiting fresh floral notes, such as strawberry and blackberry, it is medium red in color, and has a light body with a sweetly balanced acidity.
Serve at 53-57° in a wide-rimmed tulip glass. Great wine for traditional Emilia Romagna desserts such as trifle and shortbread.
The Emilia Wine Group is a wine-growing cooperative located in the Reggio Emilia region. This cooperative works together to produce enjoyable wines that strike a balance between tradition and modernity. The geographical characteristics of Emilia make it an ideal area for vine cultivation. The cooperative manages 1,500 hectares of vineyards that extend across a diverse landscape, ranging from plains to hillsides. In the cooler, clay-rich plains, Lambrusco grapes are cultivated.
