This is an ancient white variety from northeast Italy, bordering Slovenia. It is a straw yellow color with light greenish reflections. It is medium bodied with a noticeable crisp acidity, and hint of minerality. It has fresh fruity aromas of golden apple, citrus, and fresh herbs. It is dry on the palate and leaves a hint of white almond on the finish.
